Basic Bike-Bonding RiderCourse
The MSF Basic Bike Bonding RiderCourse (BBBRC) is a program that provides opportunity for riders to increase their basic riding skills soon after taking the BRC. It stresses motorcycle riding skills to maximize low-speed operation and control. Emphasis is placed on helping riders improve their control manipulation.
It is designed to provide a low risk, effective, and enjoyable training event for participants as the next logical step to the Basic RiderCourse (BRC) curriculum. Participants are those that have completed the MSF Basic RiderCourse or equivalent, or have sufficient riding skills and experience to operate a motorcycle with basic proficiency. Riders must have a motorcycle endorsement. This course is an excellent refresher course for those that may not have ridden for a period of time since their MSF Basic RiderCourse.
Bike Bonding refers to the connection and interaction of the rider and motorcycle. Good bike bonding helps riders automate their physical skills so they can devote more attention to road and traffic conditions (searching and evaluating). The general objective is for participants to develop and practice basic skills beyond those acquired in the Basic RiderCourse. By the end of the course, participants will have sufficient motorcycle control skills to handle a motorcycle in more challenging street situations.
There is no classroom portion to this course, riding exercises consist of Bike Bonding Awareness, Basic Control Skills,Speed Control & Turns from a Stop, Tight Turns, Accelerating, Braking & Turning, Engine Braking, Curves & Swerves, Low-Speed Decreasing Radius Curves, Control in Tighter Spaces, Lollipops, and Sharing the Road. No passengers are permitted in the BBBRC.
This course is designed for you and can be taken with your motorcycle

Ultimate Bike-Bonding Rider Course
New skills on your own bike!
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Ultimate Bike-Bonding RiderCourse (UBBRC) is designed for riders who possess a solid basic skill and have recent riding experience. It is a program patterned after police motorcycle training courses and consists of low-speed drills and skill circuits that encourage improvement in a rider’s motorcycle operating skill-level and performance. Control operation and body positioning are emphasized to ameliorate smoothness and precision. It stresses motorcycle manipulation skills to maximize low-speed operation and control. Emphasis is placed on helping riders improve their overall motorcycle control. A primary value of having good bike-bonding is how it transfers to street riding in the form of smooth control inputs and more spare “mental capacity” with which to apply good strategies in their riding plans and escape routes.
It is recommended that the motorcycle be appropriated for the size and strength of its rider. The UBBRC does not have a formal classroom component. The overall aim is to help riders develop smooth and precise control as they manipulate the primary controls and develop riding techniques. The UBBRC allows participants to refine and practice skills, mostly in low-speed exercises. By the end of the course, participants should be able to handle their motorcycle in a more precise and smooth manner.
